Tractor Sizing Tire size

I plan on putting together a set of turf tires for my Jinma 204. My plan is to measure the rolling circumference of the front and rear tires and establishing a front/rear ratio. I would like to use a slightly lower profile rear and then match as nearly as I can the appropriate front. I am truly amazed at the expertise and depth of knowledge that routinely shows up on this forum. So if you have any concerns I have not taken into account, please let me know.

Plan on purchasing tires and rims. It's highly unlikely you'll find turf tires to fit the OE rims. Otherwise your front/rear rolling ratio plan is sound.

Based upon your location, I'd suggest calling the Rural King corporate office in Mattoon. They ship rebadged JM204s throughout their chain already outfitted with turf tires. http://www.ruralking.com/store-locator/?SID=2d78qbjl9qkikq92kcieaf0h57 You may be able to have a full set sent to the Effingham store, then just drive down and pick them up. The fuel you'd use would likely cost less than freight to Wisconsin.

Maybe with figuring out the rolling ratio you will be O.K. but I recall being told that tires are not interchangable that the factory gearing is different and specific to the type of tire that is ordered. Perhaps one of the dealers with chime in. -Ed

I plan on using truck tires for the rears. 37" take-offs from my F350. I'm going to machine an adapter ring for the lugs. Front will be normal tractor turfs of the appropriate size and I will buy and extra set of rims for them.

Should work fine. I would not use 4x4 with these tires on. Seeing you are from the snow belt the R1's you have will out perform the truck/turf tires for snow duty anyways so you will want them on when is starts spitting snow. The turfs will be great in the summer months.
