I have a JD 855 that came with 6x12 Ag on the front but with an extra set of 25x8.50-14 Turfs. I recently blew a front tire and put the Turfs on the front. I now have the following questions:
1. I assume the "6" and the "8.50" are rim widths right?
2. What's the "25" part? (% of tread on the ground, i.e. profile?)
3. My tractor can take a 7x12 tire, but I think I would then need a 7x12 rim, correct?
4. I really like having the size of Turfs on the front, but are the diameters matched front and rear for FWD?
Any answers, ideas welcome.
