/ Tire Up, down, then stall - now no start... where to look? (14 hours new owner)

Thanks everyone! Yep, it was seat switch, more specifically the seat wires. I went to unplug the seat wire plug (to jump them) and the wires pulled straight out from under the seat (about 16" of wire) clean through the sheathing, they were severed cleanly. Stripped the ends twisted them together and she started right up.
Yes, I'll keep a better eye on using FEL and twisting motion, thank you for that advice!
