You got it. I just bought the cutter in December. It's only been out twice and it's already at the point that it's damaged. I get it that I hit a stump. However, father-in-law has an old MX5 that's rough and the guards are still in place on his. He's hit many a rock and stump. The manufacturer's design is flawed. That's my beef; The sheet metal should not hang below the deck. It's destined to get bent in this rugged terrain.

Your right i have lots of equipment and i use it all the time, I have damaged lots of things but usually damaging something is my fault and not the manufacturer.
