Thumb Titan Bolt On Thumb for LS Backhoe LB1107 on MT122

First test fit results are that the bucket hydraulic cylinder will bottom out on the mounting bolts just before full extension. Additionally it appears the mounting side plates may contact the bucket cylinder and will need to be trimmed. There is one post on this site that shows this same thumb installed on the same LS backhoe with no mention of bolt or bracket interference only that 1/4' shims need to be added.

Has anyone installed this Titan bolt on thumb to an LS backhoe LB1107. If so please inform me of what you found needed to be modified.

Just install one on my LS Mt 125 tractor. The 1/4“ side shims plates are a little less than needed. 1/2” bottom shim is perfect. Boom is metric and thumb is imperial. Added 18 gauge shims to both sides and made a very nice fit. Need to put the thumb on so the collar on the piston just clears the rear bolt on the top bracket of the thumb and the bracket sides need to be ground a bit to clear the piston collar. The piston will just touch the bolt as it hits the stops. Doesn’t appear to put any load on the piston. Haven’t tried using it yet. Be a week or two before get to try it out

^^^^^^exactly what needs to be done. It will fit, with very close tolerance.
I had posted pics here a few years ago when I put one on my 125. Unfortunately, I trashed all those pics after I sold the tractor.

If you went with the factory one you would not need shims.
