Looking for a set of clamp on pallet forks for my Kubota b7800.

I see many different designs by many sellers and wonder how the
Titan brand forks are?

The price is right, but how is the design and quality, and do they
work as well as other more expensive brands?

Are the stabilizers worth buying?

Looks as if they are made in China...is that an issue for strength and durability?

I have a set of Titan clamp ons and they are excellent for my smaller tractor when I am not lifting a lot of weight and need more maneuverability. The limiting factor will be the thickness of metal on your bucket. I Have lifted wooden pallets with bee hives around 700 pounds but that would be my limit on my smaller tractor. Remember that they put more leverage on the front of the tractor as they stick out further due to the bucket. If you use them properly they are great additions for moderate work. Just don't get dangerous and use them like regular forks.
PS- Quality on my set of Titans is excellent. I believe the bucket would buckle long before the forks would fail.

I have found them very useful. I use mine mainly as brush forks. The stabilizers are a plus.

I have a pair of the Titan forks and they are well made, but the more I use them the more I realize I need a set of real pallet forks. For light use they are fine, but for heavy use, I don't think clamp-on forks are a good idea, no matter how well made. They just don't stay put.

Would the Titan chain on forks be a better idea that the clamp on style?

I doubt it. The clamp on forks come with chain slots, and if you have chain binders you can chain them. I did that once when lifting a heavy load, just for extra insurance to keep from bowing the bottom of the bucket. It took care of that, but did nothing to solve the other problems with clamp on forks. Namely, no matter how tight you get them, they want to twist and move around. The optional cross brace would probably help the twisting some.

Exactly why I sold my Payne's clamp ons and bought dedicated QA forks. I realize that isn't an option for everyone. But if you can swing it, it's really the way to go.

Don't have a QA bucket. Who makes a fork set up that will fit and how difficult is it to change without the QA?

I'm sure that someone with real world experience will come along and post, but I think you can get a pin on setup. Of course it takes longer to unpin/repin but would still be better than a clamp on if you use the forks often. The Artillian show below seem quite expensive to me. I didn't pay that much for 48 inch, 4,000 lb. capacity Bradco SSQA forks.
Here are a few examples:

I am close (mentally) to switching out my pin-on bucket for a QA setup just so I can go back and forth between bucket and forks quickly. Should have just gone QA when I bought the tractor, would have only been $500 extra for the QA plate and bucket versus the pin-on bucket. Now it will cost me closer to $900 and I will have the old pin-on bucket sitting around.

Based on the hassle of switching out the pin-on bucket on my last tractor, I would not want to deal with it on a routine basis. It was a minor pain, OK for one-time situations, but not a routine thing. I suppose you could maybe replace the standard bucket pins with simpler pins to speed up the process.
