I just purchased a used 2007 TL100A tractor, 4WD, Cab, 830TL Loader. It has 12/12 Transmission. Any advice, tips, tricks or suggestions would be appreciated.
David;
We have same tractor, bought new, in late 2007. Ours has a Bush Hog 5045 FEL which is as size larger than installed on most TL100A's, primarily to get added lift capacity and lift height. Primary use is to operate BH cutter and an 84" grapple to clear dead trees. The TL100A is a very capable tractor and has a lot of power. I assume yours is 4 WD? Ours has cab and HVAC which is a real blessing during hot Texas summers. Actually got to use the heater last weekend and over the holidays. Let us know if you need additional info.
Clue #1- Add ballast to rear tires if not already done. Makes big difference in traction.
Clue #2- If you need a grapple get the W.R. Long 3rd function kit. If you have the NH mid mount valve set for a FEL adding the WRL is a piece of cake. Use skid steer flat face QD connectors at front of your tractor.
Clue #3 - get a good quality CAT 2 quick attach for your 3 point.
We also have a Kubota B2710 HST for small work.
