tl 1900 glow plug?

gentlemen,noticed that glow element is not glowing.turn key to left have 12v on both sides of element and to buss that connects to top of plugs .pulled plugs pretty rough looking but not sure how to test. thanks bill also not much info on plug .... 9v ,oe,ikc?can anybody tell me if ican get these at a standard parts house or are they unique to iseki only?

I have read in other posts on this site that they are standard Isuzu parts.

If you have 12 volts to the buss your glow plugs are open. If you check the glow plugs with an ohm meter they should be around 1 ohm which is hard to read with most ohm meters. Yours will read a high number maybe up to INF. It is not good to check them with 12 volts. That can burn them up. The buss should not read 12 volts with good plugs in it but it will with bad plugs in it.

I have a TU 1700 and had some of the same problems with the plugs. My guess is they are bad. Good luck in finding them anywhere local. Homestead Tractor in CA had some and they are expensive, $85.00 plus shipping and he had them in stock.

plugs are,element turned red, and started right up!!67 degrrees still need to pre heat i guess.

I need to use my glow plugs too, unless it's really warm ouitside, or of course unless it's been run recently. A little disappointing compared to some guys who report they rarely need them, but I can live with that.
