Hi. I'm new to this forum. I own an Iseki TL2300. I've had it for several years. I don't really know anything about repairing it. I've changed the oil, but that's about it. I had it repaired a couple of times (nothing serious) where I bought it, but they no longer repair Iseki tractors. I have a frontend loader on it and it's not working right. I decided to check the hydraulic fluid, and discovered that I don't even know where to check it. There's a dipstick and a filler cap on the thing the gear shifter is on, but I believe that is where the gear oil goes. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this frontend loader problem? If this question needs to be listed in the Parts/Repairs forum, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I'm not familar with that exact model, but look behind the seat. There may be a filler cap/dipstick for the hydraulic resevoir.

FOR SURE.......its that opening with a plug there by the gear shift lever. The one you knock off when your foot drags across it getting in.............It uses the same reservoir for FEL, 3PH, and trans.............I check it without the unit running and fill it up to the line......Good Luck......Dennis

Universal tractor hydraulic fluid...............Get a 5 gallon or 2 gallon container at Tractor Supply or another vendor. It doesnt "go bad" and over time you will use it. Hydraulic fluid is like 10 wt versus gear oil which is like 90 wt...................NO way to use the heavy stuff........Good luck.......Dennis
PS.......For that plug/cover, I lost it eventually and made a plug out of a dowel rod painted it orange. Every now and then, when I am mounting up I give it a little downward push with my heel........Been several years now and NO problems.........Dennis
