I had the same problem earlier this year with my White Field Boss 37. I would be using a bushhog and when I got in tall grass, the mower would stop working. I would lift it up and it would start turning again. I purchased a sevice manual and a parts manual and did the job myself. I've never have done any major work like this before but with the help of the manuals everything went smoothly. The service manual gave the directions plus had pictures so you could see exactly what was suppose to be done. On my tractor, I had to take it apart at the behind the pto valve/gear shifter. This meant supporting both halves with jacks, one which needs to have wheels so you can separate them. My problem was the clutch support, that had grooves worn into it which allowed the hydraulic fluid leak past the seals. I could not find a new one so I had a machinest bore it out and install a bushing. With new seals in place everything went back together easily. I hope this helps.:)

You probably need new orings for hydraulic piston. & possibly clutch facings , if it has slipped a lot. I can supply you with manuals & parts.

Must be that extra 11 HP wearing things out. I've got a TL2100f, great tractors, especially the way I use (abuse) mine.
