NH TL80
I have a 2001 NH TL80. The two lower support arms are attached at the bottom of the tractor. Where the shaft comes out (tapered a little at the ends)and the arm slides on I have a fluid leak. The diagram with the mentioned parts is (TL80)-Tractor (10/98-1/04).(1.89.6[03]-Implement Hitching-Support Seal. I got the seal part number 47129342. I questioned the NH dealer and they said the seal goes in the side of the bushing. This is what the parts people said and the mechanics were not there. However this is not the case. It looks like the assembly part #12 needs to be removed (with the hyd. fluid) and somehow the seals need to be installed internally OR somehow the bushings taken out then install the seal and the bushing replaced. Does anyone have any experience replacing these seals? Thank-you

I have the same problem on my Tl80. Did you ever get yours fixed? How difficult is it to repair?

I had the same problem. You remove the lift arms from of the shaft. Slide the shaft to opposite side of the leak. It slides easily. The internal seal is now accessible. Use a slide hammer toe remove the old seal. Insert the new seal, slide the shaft back through (btw, you do not need to remove the shaft entirely out of the other side, just enough to get the slide hammer brackets past the seal you are removing). Reinstall the lifts arms. Those seal are very cheaply made. They are a key ring with plastic around them....poor design.
