Bobcat Toolcat 5600
Here's my review after ~4years owning the TMG Industrial SP-240 snow plow with hydraulic angle. Its setup with a quick attach plate for a skid steer/tractor or in my case a Bobcat Toolcat 5600. I got it for $1200 new which I think is cheap for a 8ft hydraulic angle plow but it does have its drawbacks. Overall I'd buy it again but it had two major flaws, first is the stand for storage and the main one is the angle stop design. See more details in my video:

Got a small ~2in snowfall on Christmas so took the opportunity to get some 4k and drone footage of the toolcat plowing.

Yup, cheap Chicom snowplow. Have a seven ft one. Works as expected. Trips way too easy, benefits greatly from the addition of a bit of pipe over the cutting edge. The parking stand gets turned upside down and pinned in place, or forget it and destroy it. Stuff happens. Price is right on them. Lots of vendors selling.

Yes and you can tell its China low-grade steel but as you said it does work and as a homeowner (not a snow plow company) it fits the "bill". As far as tripping too easy does yours have the adjustable tripping spring perch? On mine the springs sit on a washer on top of a large nut that you can tighten down (err technically tighten upwards) that compresses the spring some and makes for a stiffer tripping action. I already folded the crappy stand leg in half so its gone.

Yup, same thing on the springs. The split pipe on the cutting edge helped a lot. My 1/2 mile drive is gravel. Also have to keep an area of grass clean for the fuel guy to maneuver and not get stuck.

Added a snow deflector (snow foil) to the top of it, will have to wait for snow to test it out but pretty simple device so should work. $70 for rubber and another $15 for hardware (but the hardware the expensive way...individually).

here's it in action on about 1ft of snow. Did well and the added snow deflector definitely makes a big difference to keep the snow rolling and not overflowing the top of the plow.
