Backhoe tn with a backhoe

Howdy, anybody out there have a tn with a hoe? I am in the market for one for my tn60a and not sure which one to buy. Has any one actually damaged a tractor with a three point hoe?

I have heard rumors that 3 pt backhoes can cause trouble.
I look forward to what folks have to say, I have a TN70A.

I have done some research on this and am told only bradco makes a subframe for this tractor including new holland. A bradco with subframe model 511 is like $9300. kje

Personal I wouldnt even consider a backhoe without a subframe. I know a guy down the road, that has a TN75 or something in that size anyway. He picked up a huge 3 point hitch backhoe. Looks funny, because the thing is so heavy that it just about drags (the loaded rear wheels squatting so bad). How he treats his tractor, I am just waiting fot it to break. The chance that your tractors housing cracks and then the tractor splits in half is soooo much less with a subframe as the load is more spread evenly. Also you might want more down pressure that you get if you have a subframe, as the 3 point hitch doesn't go up when digging in some heavy stuff. Maybe you wanna search a bit. As for me: My 757C (small hoe) has a subframe that goes on my TC55DA.

I've run a Woods 1050 3pt hitch backhoe on my TN75D for years with no problems. My dealer who is adimant about using subframes on anything smaller than a TN had no problem with this setup. This is a very heavy hoe and has a very substancial frame that bolts to the upper link holes on the tractor. There is no movement of the hoe vrs the tractor. I previously ran this sam hoe on my TN75S. True Cat 2 hitches adn tractors just can't be compared with Cat I.

I think i'm gonna go the 3pt route with a bushhog 950, i can always build a subframe if needed. Thanks for the info, kje
