Hello, looked this up in the manual set I have (for the vineyard models) and see that it calls for adjusting the 'lo' clutch switch to close (presumably) a bit sooner (assuming the ECM hasn't failed).

Since I don't have the 'remote control' unit to adjust the clutch, I made a stab at it and adjusted the switch. I also greased the 'SQUEEK' by lubing the clutch pedal shaft. Anyhow, according to the manual, I need the 'remote control' unit to reset the ECM memory.

Can I just remove power to reset it? Or does it have truly non-volatile ram?

The only current issue is that I have to wait for the time out period before the clutch will engage (orange gear light has to time out, then the code starts flashing).

You will need your dealer to hook up his scan box or laptop to erase the stored code.
As for the orange light on and waiting for 20 to 30 seconds before being able to move, you will need to replace a pressure switch on the left side of the transmission up in behind the fuel tank, Its the switch with 2 spade connectors on it, very hard to access with the wheel on but it can be done.
Good luck.

There are two switches behind the tank (that I can see). Way under (on top of the transmission area). I'll have to look into that.

The pressure switch dedicated to the transmission oil supply is oriented parallel to the rear axle. If you have electric over hydraulic 4WD engagement, an identical pressure switch controls the instrument panel indicatr lamp for that function.

Get your #48 fault cleared before worrying about the pressure switch. Your symptoms are not completely consistent with a failed pressure switch.

Thanks!

I have occasionally looked at getting an ECM console (close as I can get to the right word). As I understand it there was an 'owner' version and a 'dealer' version. What is the difference?

I have the electric shuttle clutch, so electric over hydraulic. It was funny when I was greasing the clutch "pedal" and realized it is simply a couple of switches and a potentiometer. The return spring is big only so the operator feels like he is operating a real clutch (familiarity). It would be fun to have a motorcycle style clutch lever.

I took it to the dealer for repair.

They replaced the transmission filter as the service manager said he has seen that be a problem. Then they replaced a pressure switch. All's well that shifts well!

And I had the A/C serviced. It has been a quick leaker, so I removed the headliner and the loader prior to taking it to them. I needed to replace the roof gaskets anyhow, as 2 places had worked themselves out (not anything more than a really thick version of a topper gasket on a pick up). They gave all the joints a turn with a wrench (got a bit of movement on several of them), pumped it down and it held vacuum overnight. I hope that was long enough to show any leaks.
