I have a TN70 that has the 8x8 non syncro transmission with the manual forward/reverse shifter on the left. The tractor has very, very low hours. I notice that when I push the clutch in and want to move the left shifter to forward or reverse at times it grinds especially if the rpms are up. Now once I get in in gear I can push clutch in and go from forward to reverse fine or back and forth fine. It seems to only grind when I put the left shifter in neutral and let clutch out. Can this be adjusted or is this somewhat normal for the non syncro transmission? I always thought the forward and reverse lever was syncronized but I am not sure.

Is this worse at low temps, or better at high? How many hours, in 11 years? Did the clutch ever get stuck?
I'm thinking drag in clutch parts ( pilot bushing, junk on disc or pp, release brg hanging up on sleeve) or sluggish rotation of gears in reverser or trans.
