TN70 vs. TD95

I looked at both of these tractors today at the dealership. Both with cab, 4wd, etc. TN has allergy filters and the electronic shuttle, but otherwise about the same equipment. The TN was $35k and the TD was $36k. TD seemed like a much larger tractor and certainly has a lot more horsepower. What am I missing here??? I was told the TD was of older design, but still a good tractor, but more of an economy model When I think economy, I start thinking of the transmission and levers down between my legs, but that is not the case here. Somebody shed some light on this if you can. Thanks.

The TDD line doesn't have the bells and whistles then the TN line has. They have used off the shelf parts where they could instead of designing new parts to keep cost down. The rear end is an old Fiat design and works fine. It just looks a little different then what most of us here are use to.

Can you get the charcoal filters for the TDD?

I personally like the TDD line and will add one to my collection when the budget allows. It looks and feels solid and from looking it over I can't see any areas where CNH cut corners.

In all my travels Ive never seen a TD but plenty of all the other models. Where are are they made?

TD's are manufactured in Turkey I believe. You may have seen one, it has the older sheetmetal like the early TN's.

The TT has the sheetmetal like the TN. The TDD has the older theme still but is larger then the TN.

What sort of motor is in the TD, Iveco? How about the TT?

Was looking at the NE reports and noticed that the TN series used both NH and Iveco motors. Are those the same thing?

TD's have Iveco motors, TT45 and 50 are Shibaura powered, TT60 has the same engine as the TN60, TT75 is powered by the TN85 engine, I think. It's a 238 cid Iveco. It is also the base engine for the TL70 and 80 if I remeber correctly.
