With a test light, and ignition switch on, check to see if you have current coming into the coil, and out of coil, and at stud on distributor. If you have power to the distributor, as mentioned, check the points. Clean & set, or replace if necessary. With the cap off, you can break/open the points, and see some spark. If no spark there, probably the condenser. If you have spark there, check the lugs inside the cap for ionization buildup. This can be scraped off with a pen knife for the time being.
Beyond that, I personally prefer copper core wires. The hypalon one's just don't seem to hold up. NAPA sells a copper core kit for around $20.00, which includes wires, ends. and boots for both ends.
