To sandblast or not?

Doing any kind of sandblasting with a silica sand media and NOT using approved respiratory device is extremely dangerous. I second the "get it done at a pro shop" they have the experience to do it right. And there not very expensive.

IIRC that would be black mica sand that is very fine grit. I use a large welding and fabrication shop which will blast and powder coat reasonably imo.

The shop I use for powder coating does the prep blasting too.
