I've got a '09 5600D and it looks like I need to replace the battery. I've got the original HD Group Size 31 in there right now and it looks tough to remove from the top. Has anyone removed the small, plastic side panel next to the battery ? It looks like it ought to slide right out the side, and it looks simple enough to remove (4 fender screws, 3 screws on the fuel filler and a small, clear hose for the air filter obstruction indicator).
