The cellular phone is the most amazing tool (of exploitation) ever devised for humans! It knows where you are and how long you stay there, it knows how long you sleep and how long a walk you take. It knows who your friends are and how long you talk to them. It knows which side of the political isle you'll fall on... and you said YES take all that information from me!

It's up to us to control the phone usage!

I have a cell phone. No landline. But most of the time the phone is off...if I'm home its in the house while I'm out doing whatever. If someone calls and needs to talk to me they can leave me a message and I'll call them when I get back to the phone. It might as well be a landline. I do carry it with me when traveling but I have yet to send a text to anyone nor has the phone ever connected to social media.

Unlike most folks, I just don't feel the need to be "connected" 24/7.

If a politician said "We need to make it mandatory for everybody to wear a tracking device at all times, and every evening, report everything they did each day" He would be shouted down and sued by the CLU, AFL-CIO, and every other acronym in this nation. Instead they left the task to Zuckerman, Jobs, and a few other neo millionaires to do the job for them.
