Well, after a long year of research, flip flopping, hesitating, question-asking and, I imagine being a royal pain at times, the wait is almost over. Tomorrow afternoon I go sign the papers for my TC29D. The dealer will go over everything with me there and he will deliver it on his way home tomorrow evening. Equipped as follows:

TC29D Hydro
7308 FEL
ATI Tach-All
ATI 60" Bucket w/ Toothbar and Hooks
NH 756C Backhoe
1 Rear Remote

Sadly, the backhoe has not come in yet so I will have to give the tractor back probably next week to have it installed. But, we're supposed to have nice weather Saturday so I will have a day to get acquainted with the new addition to the family.

Thanks to everyone who provided assistance in this decision-making process. Its been quite an ordeal.

Well congrats on that great setup... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

After you use the tractor/loader for a week and give it a good workout (safely /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif) and then return your tractor for the backhoe install... while it's there... get the rear tires filled or rear wheel weights mounted...

Then, when you finally get the whole unit back the second time... give us a report on the difference of "with/without" the added ballast... especially when using your loader...

Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's a nice rig; I know you'll enjoy working with it.

If ya don't mind me asking what's the final price you got on that setup?

Jarrett,
I don't have the final figure in front of me. Somewhere around $23,000. The exact figure is at my office. Took advantage of the 0% for 36 months so it lessened the financial pain a litle.

John,
I did not plan to have the tires filled as I think the backhoe will stay on most of the time. I would think this would add enough weight to the rear. Having said that, as this is my first tractor, only time will tell how it will ultimately be used and whether or not I will want the tires filled at some point in the future.

Your suggestion would make for a nice comparison. Thank you.

Bird,
Thank you for the kind words and for the responses to my questions over the past months. You are a real asset to this forum. Always patient with the newcomers. I appreciate that.

Congratulations, Nice to see another Blue owner. You'll love it. I've had a 1710, 2120 and TN75 all with backhoes and they were all loaded. The hoe is heavy but it is quite high and I find my machines are actually more stable without it on. Just my thoughts.

Andy
