Those are nice looking deer. Whatcha feeding them cobs or full ears of corn? I have some mineral ROCKS out but maybe I could add a few other sacks or blocks of something?????

The corn is only for the pictures. It was only out for 4 days at the point the pic was taken. I do not feed them year round or even all season, heck they dont even really do more than nibble at the corn here and there. They much prefer the white oak acorns i have across much of the property. But i do use cob corn, it seems to sprout less (as it seems less gets worked into the soil) and they can eat it as easy, which means the corn lasts longer.

I would suggest planting winter oats. They will grow fast and provide forage.
