A Fergie-MF 35 gas- Mf 165- Mf 6161- Unimog- Fiat 880
The result of a 1/2 inch too long PTO shaft. Lot of work, have to change 3 bearings, and the lid that holds the bearing where the PTO is, but were sort of lucky, since nothing of the cast iron chassis inside the tractor body was destroyed.

Wow.. you got lucky. On 2 occasions I've helped my stepfather rebuild the pto section on his jd 2240 after an employee fitted it with an implement with a too-long pto shaft.
Both times had to replace the pto outter bearing carrier and bearing, entire set of wet clutches in the indepentent clutch pack.. lots of gaskets and orings, and many split and locking rings.. etc.. Was about 500$ worth of parts and shop labor each time, not including our labor. ( Shop labor was on a spring loded part in the pto clutch area that we let the jud dealer do.... charged us 20$ plus the parts.. etc. ).
Took a couple days each time.. I got real tired of that particular fix...
Wow. I guess I got lucky when I didn't consider the extra length of the slip clutch I added to my rototiller and sheared the pto shaft off the tiller. Lucky the local welder was able to put it back together for $50 without even needing to disassemble the tiller.
