Took a picture mid project then a couple more

I was taking a break from today’s project. Walked out on my deck. Took the above picture. I wish I had a couple of “before” pics but I didn’t think about it till I took a break. I removed an old flowerbed that was here when I moved in a couple years ago. It Contained two crape myrtle trees. Each was 15/20 feet high. I hated to take it down but it was just in the way. Anyway thought I’d share a few picks even though I started taking pictures mid project. Below is some of the roots I pulled out of the ground. I used my kens bolt on hooks a good bit today. Had to use chainsaw to cut roots from stump. Then pulled up stump separately from roots.

That chainsaw set down on the lawn like that makes me nervous. You could have 300 acres to turn your tractor around and somehow one of its tires is going to cross paths with where you set the chain saw down. Just does. Chainsaw have the gravity pull of a black hole.

Chainsaws also have the ability to affect your memory. Put one in your loader and two minutes later you will scoop up a load of dirt or if you are lucky just dump the saw on the ground before you pick up the dirt. DAMHIKT.

Looks nice, I carry my chainsaw in the bucket all the time but I do worry about forgetting it’s in there. Cperky, if you lived closer I’d be happy to help you next time. I’d even bring my tractor to. I wouldn’t actually help you, I’d just run your saw over for you, you know twice. The first time going forward, the saying ”what was that sound”. Then backing up and running it over again when I investigate the sound.

Interesting how something like a crepe myrtle is beautiful at 4 or 5 feet tall...and can grow to be a nuisance at 10 or 15 feet tall!

Regretfully, I too have a lot of projects where I wish there were some good "before" photos...

Most people go through life as critics and don't appreciate the effort required and the improvements made!
