This subject has been done to death over the years here on TBN but I'm curious if anyone has come up with any new ideas.
As many owners know, putting a tool box on a cabbed L6060 is a bit of a challenge. The usual places, like near the steps, on the fenders, behind the seat or on the ROPS are all obstructed by the cab. Yes, there is some storage space inside the cab but it is fairly limited and sometimes awkward to access from outside.
So far, the only idea I have is the tried and true method of using the FEL cross tubes. This scheme works on a great number of Kubota models. A piece of 3" Sched 20 PVC pipe and end fittings can be used. Once the caps are glued in place, a section of pipe is cut out to provide access.:

Some sanding of the end caps may be required for a snug, weatherproof seal.
Add a stainless U bolt and perhaps a safety cable, and you're good to go.

The hydraulic FEL lines block the right side tube so this will work only on the left with some models, including the L6060.
A longer piece of PVC pipe can be used in the cross tube near the bucket but since this location rotates as you work the FEL, care should be taken when storing in this location. Delicate items can be damaged as they roll around inside the pipe.
Removable plumbers pipe plugs can also be used to seal the cross tube openings on the forward tube. Using them on the cross tubes under the cab isn't recommended though since the inside of the tube is open and items inside can be lost or damaged by the weather.

Small items can also work their way toward the center of the forward cross tube and make them difficult to reach.
Please chime in here if you have any other ideas!
