Replaced the sorry excuse for a toolbox on My CK27. Nothing special, just a Wally World rain resistant box with lift out tray.

I couldn't bring myself to throw away the tiny OEM container so I repurposed it. Made a couple of brackets and mounted it to the strut for the FEL.

It's perfect place for my smokes, lighter and phone, plus it looks like it belongs there.

I like that! I replaced the small box with one similar to yours, and then mounted the SMV sign to the box. I will definitely look into installing the smaller box like you did.

Many of us are looking to add mirrors. Please tell us about your install.

Judging by the aluminum clamps holding the old box to the FEL strut it looks like you might fab your own stuff.

Is the vibration bad with one-point mounts?

I'm used to operating vehicles thru my mirrors and I really missed that convenience on my Kioti. The mirrors are prototypes I ginned up to get a feel for how close to center I could keep them and still be useful. The trails on my acreage are barely double track and didn't want the mirrors in the scrub if they didn't need to be.

They are a bit too close but provide enough situational awareness to keep me out of trouble. As for the mirrors themselves, they were some Cipa units I purchased for use on my Rhino. They really didn't fit the bill for that purpose but were good enough for the prototypes.

I have some larger, much better quality mirrors that will eventually replace the ones shown. Also, I will make the brackets a bit wider and a few inches higher. The plastic arms do vibrate more than you would like but settle down at anything above idle. I think the mounting approach is a keeper, just need to tweak the brackets a little.

These serve the purpose quite nicely for now so the 2nd Gen model will be a project for when I have the luxury of free time. Hope this helps those who asked.
