Tool/storage Box mounted on the rops

Thanks to Home Depot for making this perfect size, bright orange tool box.

Fits perfectly on the rops, centered on the back of the tractor and bright orange
for safety, as well.

I mounted the box on a piece of plywood and it stradles the rops with 2 pieces of
pressure treated wood-one on each side of the rops. covered the wood with sheet vinyl
and slips on real tight, and lifts right off.

Great size for storing our stuff!

I'm quite impressed! What better place to put it! It's not in the way of anything. Every tractor needs a tool box. Great place to put a tow strap, a few wrenches etc

But you're defeating the entire reason for having a ROPS as you can only mount the box with it lowered.

You are correct. When the tractor goes to work and the rops has to go up, the box slips off (no tools) and then slips onto the top rail
of the multi-purpose carry-all that I am constructing. When the rops goes up, the carry all gets attached and box comes along for ride-
either way. Can't leave home without my stuff.

I started a thread similar to this some time ago. Too lazy to find it and supply the link but I should mention that I started with the tool box you have there and it did not take any time at all for the orange plastic to look like crap. I suggest buying the metal version from HD and painting it orange.
