At Farm Progress shows and the last Louisville National Farm Machinary Show I saw a box for hand tools that has a peg or place for every socket, wrench, pliers etc that, with the lid closed, can't fall off. For a demonstration they have a jig that rotates the toolbox, you hear the tools clattering around but they're all in place upon opening. The company's name was (indian name) Welding Co. from some place in Nebraska as best as I recall. Has anybody the exact name, address and phone or better yet an email address? Has anyone any experience with these toolboxes or others that are portable. I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time searching for the right size tool in a toolbox that gets all jumbled-up. Thanks

In my road box I use pouches for my wrenches and clip rails for my sockets. This way I can find them and I also know if one is missing. The rest of the pliers and crimpers sit in pouches that are made into the box it looks sort of like a thick brief case and is plastic I also have one that is metal but its very heavy.
But for home the wrench pouches and socket rails will pay for themselves in a very short time because you know when a socket is missing.
I saw at Sam's club awhile back a lighter version of my metal box with foam inserts and pouches.
Aircraft tech's use the foam inserts to account for their tools after working on a plane. I guess it would not be a pretty sight--socket loose in an engine at 10,000 feet.

Thanks to DanR I called Montezuma Welding that make the tool box I mentioned in my first post. They don't have a website but http://www.tool-central.com/montezumatools.htm is an online distributor with pictures. They are not cheap. Has anybody had any experience with these tool boxes? They are well made from what I show of them at farm shows.
