As a new owner of a TC 5600, I have experienced a need for greater traction and counterweight on some surface conditions and attachment configurations. Thus, I am considering adding a gell-like substance to the rear tires. Is this effective? What is the best product to use? Will it do harm to the tires? Cost? Any down sides to be aware of? Are cast iron weight disc's that mount on the hubs or rear counter weights like on a JD tractor feasible?

Someday you might have to do a slight repair on the tire. A gell will not be the favorite stuff to deal with when it needs to be out of the way. Look for the weight density rating of any stuff you install and whether it freezes in cold weather.
