Nice work John. Besides saving money there's always the pride in saying "I made that"!

I'm currently taking a local boces welding course just for the stated purposes. 10 sessions, 3 hours each for $236 and they supply the equipment/rods etc. WELL worth it and highly recommended!! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well, everyone, I used the toothbar seriously this weekend. At the in-laws farm, my father-in-law had cleared an area of brush and smaller trees with his Bobcat and a tree-cutter attachment three weeks ago. He borrowed the attachment from his Bobcat dealer and it had to be back by Monday morning. Well, it rained that weekend and we spend most of weekend "unstucking" the Bobcat. That wet ground and heavy Bobcat left major holes and ruts everywhere. My father-in-law wanted his box blade back to smooth over the ruts this past weekend. I told him I would trailer my tractor out there and help him. Anyway, the teeth went a long way in uprooting root balls and raking branches and roots. I could not have done it without bucket teeth.
BTW, my father-in-law ran a stick right through the radiator in his old Massey tractor. My little Kubota has no problems pulling him back home. I was kinda returning the favor because he pulled my tractor out of a nasty area last fall. I had the 'Bota buried.
