I have a Kubota B2650 and I am thinking about getting a tooth bar or something similar to it to dig the dirt a little better. The simple strait edge of my bucket just does not cut into the heavy kansas sod. I have a 54" bucket
Price wise delivered they are close to the same amount

The short version.....If in a lot of rock.................get a tooth bar
If in a lot of dirt and roots....get a Piranha
I've had both.

In Iowa, so probably similar. The piranha bar cuts very nicely through thick sod. I've been working on tearing out brush and bramble in a pasture and I would agree with the post before that says it's the tool for the job if there are roots or brush. Makes quick work of it.

The pasture hadn't been touched in a decade so the sod was matted and thick, but with the bar it cut through no problem. I will caveat that I wasn't doing much digging that was very deep.
