I've had my tractor for a week so I'm very new. When I purchased I ordered a woods tooth bar from the dealership, still waiting to come in and they will install. I'm wondering now though if a bxpanded piranha toothbar would be better as the teeth are closer together and not so spaced out? I've been digging out saplings and hundreds of rocks so far, I've read the woods brand are better on rocks. I'm too inexperienced to know which is best. So far I've had good luck with the bucket digging in front of the sapling a bit or rock then after digging in front of it then popping the roots out. Sometimes coming in again on the backside or different t angle. I like food plots and I want to run my tiller in woods. I would also like to dig my own pond in the future if even possible and dig a road out make it level. Thank you. Added a picture of my work. 20190919_144446.jpeg

Just my humble opinion(JMHO) here. I have a tooth bar on my bucket. It's great for gently digging out rocks. I have NO experience with a piranha tooth bar. However - folks who have the piranha do love them also.

Just remember - you have a tractor -- not a bull dozer. Too aggressive and things can/will be damaged.

Honestly - I would not consider your B2601 for digging a pond. Digging is not the expected function of a FEL mounted bucket. To level your road - consider a heavy rear blade.

My pirarana bar arrives today for my RK-55. I've got two properties that I maintain...one with EXTREMELY rocky soil and one with sandy / loam soil. I've got work to do at both places with the toothbar, including removing rocks and clearing underbrush. I'll keep the forumn updated in a couple of weeks about how the bar performs.

I have a Piranha toothbar and have been happy with it. In fact I’ve never taken it off my bucket. But when it’s real rocky or nasty I put my grapple one. That seems to loosen things up- it only has 8 or so teeth across the 66” or so.

Exactly RNeumann. I find loosening & picking with my grapple goes so much easier and quicker. Less likely to cause damage also.

Tooth bars do better in rocks and dirt and piranha does better with bushy vegetation.
