I have a NH #7308 FIL -60'' bucket and I want a tooth bar has any one bought one from a NH dealer, and what are some good sources to check with? I do have a very good local welder who could make me one I just need to get info together so I can exlpore my options. Do most bolt to the sides and hook under the cut bar? My cut bar is welded on and is not very heavy duty. I do not use my tractor for "realy" heavy work. Will the tooth bar help when picking up gravel and larger rock? I need all of your wonderful knowledge makes life much easier. THANKS

Markham Welding is probably the best source based on quality and price. (www.markhamwelding.com). There are many, many satisfied customers here on TBN.

The tooth bar will bolt onto the sides of the bucket. A tooth bar will asist in digging into the ground or a pile of material.

TBN has more posts on tooth bars than any othr single implement. Do a search for "tooth bar" and you can spend the next week or so reading.:D

I agree with Mad...look into the Markham toothbar. You can check out how I installed mine in this thread. TOOTHBAR INSTALLATION Since putting it on, I have never taken it off. It really works great for digging and scraping with the FEL. I even pop out bushes and small trees with it...no problem.

Do a search here for toothbar and look at some of the ones people have made. I copied this one from a guy who posted here. It was pretty easy to make. The 4' extensions work wonders on brush piles and as a fork lift for lifting under 1100 pounds. You could also use them with a few boards as a raised work platform.
