I need to know which removable tooth bar you would recommend for a B3030 & 60" bucket that I have ordered. I want to get one of quality. Also, approximate price I should pay for it. thanks

I have A W R Long Tooth Bar on my 60" bucket.. Purchased it from Carver Equipment for about $300 including shipping.
It has worked great.

EZ toothbar from H&H Sales .

Since the 60" bucket is lighter weight than the 54", the extra strength of the V edge may be especially welcome. Price about the same as Woods, W R Long, etc., more than Markham. Check their website for a dealer in your area.

I've been using my extreme duty H&H toothbar since november on an 84" bucket attached to a Kubota M9000 and I love mine its first job was to help me move 1,000cu yds of hard packed dirt and rocks. I don't know if I'd have torn up the lead edge of my bucket or not but there is some security in knowing that I've added more beef up front rather than just the teeth attached to the bucket like most of the toothbars mount. I know there are a lot of folks using the other ones and only Henro and Aloha for sure have the H&H like mine and everyone swears by theirs and none indicated any lip damage when I was trying to decide which to buy. I have to believe that when you start prying stuff out of the ground a little extra metal up front won't be a disadvantage. I don't forsee ever taking mine off I just use the bottom of the bucket to smooth stuff with although that seems to be one of the selling points for all of the toothbar manufactures it looks to me like they ought to make a bucket for ag tractors with the teeth being integral with just the tips being changeable if you broke or bent one.

Mine is similar to the H&H link below. I take mine off in the winter and replace it with a large flat steel cutting edge for clearing snow. However, the tooth bar is like night and day in regards to digging ability on a loader bucket. They are dangerous though...My teeth are very sharp and will basically destroy anything they touch....including your skin if you bump into one of the teeth with only a tee-shirt on. I cut my shoulder pretty bad just rubbing up against one of the teeth. They'll cut right into any wood or siding you may brush up against....I snagged just a small piece of my driveway pavement with a tooth and it ripped a whole section out of my barn entry area. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Generally, I'd have to say it the cheapest and most useful "attachment" you can buy.
