I think it depends on what you need to do. If you need to tear down dirt and level it the boxblade first. If you have a lot of loader/light digging where you need the extra help the toothbar can provide, then toothbar first. I personally LOVE both and use both a lot. But I would go boxblade with rippers first because it can be used in so many ways by angling. Remove some rippers and tear up things, use one ripper to dig a shallow trench. Take rippers off and just use the blade for dragging piles, dirt, leveling. It's very versatile. I started out with the box, only because I didn't know about the toothbar at first. Got one as soon as I could though. How about that for a non answer to your delema? John
