Toothbar questions - brand and design

I originally posted this question as a thread entitled Few or Many but I realized it was better to include a reference to the attachment so I am reposting. Newbie mistake. Won't happen again until the next time.

I am considering getting a toothbar from ezattachments for my BX 25.
Does anyone have any experience with this brand?
Does anyone see any disadvantages to their design?
What do you see as the Pros / cons of having many teeth or few?
Will it be harder to penetrate undisturbed dirt with many teeth?

I don't - got my toothbar from Markhams. I think it has 7 teeth.

I would think that more (or many) would be better suited for use clearing brush, using it like a (root) rake ..... as opposed to digging ......

Will it be harder to penetrate undisturbed dirt with many teeth?

I would think it would be ..... you have a finite amount of force or power with which to drive the teeth into the ground ...... the fewer teeth on the toothbar, the more force (and weight) applied to each tooth.

As stated above the numerous teeth shown will require more force to penetrate the ground. I can see some instances (like back-dragging) where a fine tooth bucket would be nice. But the biggest problem to me is going to be brush and soil hanging up between the teeth. The self-cleaning nature of a tooth bar appears to be lost with all those teeth...IMO. Why would you want so many teeth?

One design issue I see as different with this brand is that they use flat stock top and bottom to envelope the front lip of the bucket. This seems to be much stronger and to allow back-dragging as the bottom appears flat.

And one problem with that design (some claim), is that dirt gets trapped in there, drys, and turns to concrete, making it almost impossible to remove the toothbar.
