Jay28 My tooth bar is a FFC tooth bar and is their "super heavy duty" model. It is very nice but be prepared for sticker shock. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif (6+ for the 72" on a bolt on edge) I got my from the Dealer in Austin when I bought my tractor. It does make the tractor look mean.

Also, in ordering one, heavy duty loader buckets usually come
with a replaceable bolt on cutting edge which bolts to bottom
of bucket with 10-15 bolts.
Some bolt on tooth bars are built to go over this type of setup,
some are not and vice/versa, so don't be too excited to get that
one at the swap meet until you figure out which type it is.
With a bolt on cutting edge, basically a huge slab of steel, you'd
have a hard time bending the bucket even snagging the longer
style teeth. The longer the teeth the easier it is to use
raking debris, the short grades better and works better in some
kinds of piles, (or so it seems)

I bought it from Outback Tractor, Cumming, GA, measured 59 1/4, and I am sending an attachment of the unit after installed. After using it for a few hours, they couldn't have it back. Two 1" Holes, and it came with the mounting bolts, and Cost was $325

Can't say one is better than the other. This is the only one I've had. I do know a lot of dealers sell WR Long, so I went with that one. Actually, my dealer, who sells more heavy construction equipment, told me he couldn't locate a toothbar for a tractor bucket. He had ones for a skid steer in stock..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
So I bought mine from Kiohio........wanted to go down and meet him anyway and see his Kiotis.
Anyway, I'm happy so far, I guess it depends on what you have (property, rocks,trees........etc) to use it on. )</font>

I can't recall offhand what I paid, but it is for a 7' bucket, and I believe it has 9 teeth. I don't want to go outside and count the teeth. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I don't think you are going to bend these. I've bent my HD Bucket pushing trees, but these toothbars are stout!!
My 65 packs some power, but the toothbar still has all its teeth!!!

The best setup I have seen is a universal skid steer quik-tah on the loader. Then, one bucket with teeth, one without.
The buckets then switch out easily. When you dig, the toothbar really help. When you just need to scoop, or are back-dragging, the smooth bucket is perfect.
A buddy of mine does that with his skid steer; it works really well.
The only issue, is $$$. Doing it this way, tou would have the expense of two buckets, and the attach piece. But, when it is set up, it wroks real sweet!

I test drove several models around the dealer lots and I found that I liked the NH best for a couple reasons. I was most comfortable on the NH and liked the placement of the controls especially the placement of the FEL joystick.
All in all the NH just looked bigger too. Plus I think it is the best looking machine, which is an extra. In the end it all comes down to personal preferance. Just try to get some time on both machines if at all possible.
I ended up with a used 2002 TC40D.

Jay that's spooky. you may have me by 10 pounds in weight but everything else matched including the way I shopped to a T. I am another advocate of the TC-40D because I like the way it fits also.
