Has anyone made up, or know where I can buy, a top link, hook(bracket)you can store the top link out of the way, til you hook up to another attachment? I hate to leave mine hanging down, banging into everything when I don't have it hooked up. Kubota has them on some of their CUT models. I have a Yanmar YM2500 and could secure the hook to rear of seat.

thanks.

The factory hook on my kubota is nothing more than a thick heavy duty wire that is bent with a hook shape. No need for something strong, I would just build one.

No problem.
Some on here could tell you how and email a CAD drawing they whipped together during there lunch break to build a tractor from scratch useing all kinds of fancy tools.
I'm just glad somone finally needed my skills from fixing stuff with haywire.:D Heavy clothes line wired worked real good for years on our old MF135. Not pretty but it matched the rest of the tractor. Vegetables from the garden seemed to taste just fine also.

I use a bungee batween the draft links and around the top link. That keeps all three secure and no rattling.

Hey Jim,

I took a piece of 3" pipe and cut a piece about 2" long. I then put that piece on my bandsaw and cut it in half, to end up with 2 half moon pieces. These pieces fit around the hyd cylinder very nicely. I then welded some tabs on each end of the pipe halves. I made the tabs out of 1/4" x 1" flat bar and drilled 3/8" holes in each tab. Two of the tabs are 1" long for the bottom side of the halves and the other two are 2 1/2" long. I drilled a second set of holes in the tabs that will be used to put a hook through. Then you put the pipe halves around the cylinder, with a piece of tape on the inside of the halves, to snug the fit up, and then bolt the halves together. I attached a piece of 1/4", chain about 10" long, to the back of my seat frame with a bolt and put a hook from a binder strap on the other end. I just lift my cylinder up and put the hook through the upper set of holes. Works great. If I can ever figure out how to post pictures, I will take a few for you. Hope this helps.

That sounds like an elegant solution Mike. It's far more thought and work than most of us would do, but I bet you get a smile on your face everytime you look at it. I know I would.:)
