I have a BX2350 with a rear blade. I added a rubber cutting edge for snow removal. It just didn't seem to be working as well this year. It was skipping and skidding to much. I finally realized I had the top link too long. When I shortened it up it works much better. Kind of an obvious answer, but some times the obvious escapes me.

I often use my hydraulic top link to adjust the angle of the box blade, both for forward and reverse. It can make the cutting edge carve into the surface, or glide over it, depending on angle.

I also use forward direction and tilt bb way back and use the curved backside of the rear cutting edge to smooth gravel and dirt.
