Tim...
I'm sorry....but I have to plead ignorance here regarding the question you ask. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I don't have the optional draft sensing controls and so I've never thought on this issue. However, what you suggest about shutting off the draft sensing controls before operating the TnT is plausable. It may be possible to wire both systems so both operate compatibly but this would require even more skill on the part of the installer in correctly wiring the controls so all works as desired. This, I would think, would be the major challenge.....wiring up everything correctly.
Another point about my system....this was the first 5 SCV install that my JD technician did on a compact tractor. He mentioned to me upon delivery that it was indeed a challenge. My technician was very good with solid tech training but he did say it was a bit problematic installing all components of the TnT and making sure everything was wired correctly with hoses running where they should be so they wouldn't interfere with the physical operation of the tractor. I understand what he meant when he told me this. When operating the 3PH with a couple attachments, I've noticed that if I'm not careful I could potentially pinch the hydraulic hoses to the point of damaging them with the way the top link extends and retracts. I've also had to run the tractor on a few occasions around low hanging tree canopies with my foldable ROPs in the down position. Here, I've noticed the top cylinder could potentially jam up against the top of the ROPs that's now folded down so close to where the top link is located. Potential damage could be bending the extended top link cylinder and denting the ROPs if the ROPs is folded down to its maximum extent. This top hydraulic cylinder has a tremendous amount of power. I've already bent and twisted my top cylinder restraining strap a couple times to the point it looked like a pretzel. I had to get a replacement. I now remove this strap altogether before I operate the 3PH.
So, it's indeed an understatement about the physical/fitting conflict. There's a lot bunched together around this 3PH. Adding anything else may be even more of a challenge. I believe the TnT is well worth the investment for anyone who is operating a number of attachments and wants maximum flexibility that'll produce optimal performance of their equipment. But, I also believe that for it to work properly one should make sure they have the sufficient skills to do a proper TnT install or they should have an experienced technician who likewise has similar skills.
Hope this answers your query somewhat.
