I just ordered my self contained hydraulic toplink from Jiffy-Hitch. I don't have any hydraulic taps for a powered unit, but I think this will be a huge improvement over getting off the tractor and having to twist for adjustments. Anyone experienced in this department? I am using a boxblade, mower, dirt scoop, and carry all. The stroke is only 6". 22"-28" eye-eye measurement.

Interesting. If I read their description correctly, you open the valve and use the tph position to adjust to the desired angle. Close the valve and you're all set. Is that the way it works?

I've not heard of anyone using one, let us know how it works for you /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

That's what I get out of it. Lift the implement to extend cylinder with valve open close valve to lock in that position. Lower implement to ground and roll forward with valve open to close cylinder then throw the valve to lock in cylinder. With all the in between adjustments availible.

Rob,
Did you get that picture from their web site? It looks like something that I could find interesting, but when I try their web site at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.jiffyhitchsystems.com/>http://www.jiffyhitchsystems.com/</A>, all I can get trying to use the links are "404 -- Not found" errors.

I'm guessing you're not using Internet Explorer. I tried this site and it doesn't seem to like other browsers. I viewed it with IE 6.0. Netscape wouldn't work. Does Bill Gates have stock in Jiffy Hitch?

I don't see any pricing on the web site. Where did you order it from?

Thanks Tony. You're exactly right. I've seen some sites that have some components that won't work with Netscape, but I've never seen one like that.

As for ordering, if you go to their <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.jiffyhitchsystems.com/info.html>"request information"</A> page, they have a toll free number and address listed.

I ordered it straight from Jiffy Hitch I believe in FL. They are shipping it to me in MO. I think it was $245 plus freight.

I agree. Usually you just get some wierd things happening. As I diehard Netscape user myself, I always try IE whenever anything fails.

Yes it came from their website, and I am using IE.

It looks like the link has an accumulator or something, perhaps to absorb shocks to the system? I'm surprised this is the first time this device has been mentioned on the board. Anxious to hear more about it /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
