I am clearing a few acres of my property which is heavy scotch broom and blackberries. I have been as careful as possible, but things sometimes happen. A large stick came up under the tractor at some point, unbeknownst to me, and snapped the linkage bolt for the right rear brake, and tore out three wires which appear to go to the lights. I don't have a wiring diagram. Removing and replacing the linkage is quite simple, but I need to figure out where the green ground wire came from. The other two wires obviously connect to the pair dangling.

Thank you very much, California. I did end up finding the other wire that the green one connected to. I will have to see the best way to secure these so they cannot get torn away again. What I am doing is gently pushing over large shrubs with the bucket, then dragging them away with the back blade. Invariably some pop up and try to tangle with the tractor. I'm surprised I did not see it happen, but I do remember a noise once which I thought came from the front bucket. This is one tough little tractor, though. She's purring like a kitten, and everything has been working great this summer, knock on wood.
