Toro Wheel Horse Pedal Sticking

We have a Toro Wheel Horse Model 73542 (2001 or 2002 year) that has a hydrostatic pedal sticking. Mower itself goes forward and backwards just fine, but pedal is hard to push either way and brake pedal hard to push. When I lift my foot from pedal when going forward, it does not go to neutral - keeps going forward until I push down on the heel or reverse portion of pedal. I have greased the one fitting I could find. Thankful for any suggestions someone may have to help get pedal fixed.
