Hi all,
Hopefully this is in the right spot. Finally started building stuff for my new Chinwanese unit.
Always have trailers of various sizes, boats caravans etc... to move around the yard. Saves me having to muck around with pulling out the trolley jack to attach/detach some of em on the ute, not to mention stuffing around with jockey wheels. Some of the customer jock wheels are crap to say the least. Just a matter of hitch up, raise n drive.
Nuthing earth shattering just a tow hitch attachment for the front forks. It simply is a slide on to the forks affair with pins to the back **** so she dont slide off.
C channel welded into a H. From there welded to some RHS. Found on some trailer hitches that there wasnt enough clearance wrt the tow ball, so I had to weld on some 8 mm plate to extend the ball forward of the H. All better now.
Still gotta build some basic stuff like extenda forks, carry all etc... When I get the time to scratch of course!
