Hi all,

Hopefully this is in the right spot. Finally started building stuff for my new Chinwanese unit.

Always have trailers of various sizes, boats caravans etc... to move around the yard. Saves me having to muck around with pulling out the trolley jack to attach/detach some of em on the ute, not to mention stuffing around with jockey wheels. Some of the customer jock wheels are crap to say the least. Just a matter of hitch up, raise n drive.

Nuthing earth shattering just a tow hitch attachment for the front forks. It simply is a slide on to the forks affair with pins to the back **** so she dont slide off.

C channel welded into a H. From there welded to some RHS. Found on some trailer hitches that there wasnt enough clearance wrt the tow ball, so I had to weld on some 8 mm plate to extend the ball forward of the H. All better now.

Still gotta build some basic stuff like extenda forks, carry all etc... When I get the time to scratch of course!

I like your hitch but I would rather have your mag drill. :)

Drill is only an elcheapo. For the price they wanted for it, it simply jumped into my ute. The others I have seen have been over $1500 AUD... ouch!

No shortage of grunt, was having probs keeping the MT2 arbor to stay in place, even with a bit of help with the hammer. So far a bit of ally foil wrapped around the shank and shoved back in is working.

I just cut a hole in each fork and attach a ball or clevis?
Quick simple and easy. Can adjust to each side of tractor or nearly (- 2") from center if need be.:)

Yeah That was what I was planning to do first up. Thus the C section welded into a H pattern.

In the end I just couldnt bring myself to drilling holes in the forks. After seeing a larger version of what I built at a secondhand machinery place with slippers on well.... the result ended up as shown.
