I haven't owned a full-sized pickup since my first vehicle way back when (1972 Chevy C10 Stepside). I've been aching for a "real" truck for a long time. I picked it up this past Sunday.

I'm loving it so far, and suspect I will really enjoy it with my Mahindra behind it.

Looks just like mine, but I have an extened cab, not a crew cab. Those red trucks sure are "purdy."

Where you at in "Bama?" I was born in Florence, raised in Huntsville, and atteneded college in Ozark. I currently have lake property on Logan Martin near Talladega.

Looks like it was time. That S-10 with its hood open ;) was not much of tow rig.

Now you're ready BAMA!
Are you near the Dothan wiregrass area?

I'm in NW Alabama, Glen Allen to be specific, near the Fayette/Marion line.

And, yes, the S10 has seen better days. I put a new alternator on it Monday. I must say, it's been a good one, though. Nearing 1/4 million miles and it still runs fairly good, just uses a little oil.

My wife called yesterday and said, "I put your truck to work today. Your dad got his tractor stuck and I pulled him out." Wish I'd been there...

Nice rig, Bama! I've got one the same year, 2WD, club cab, 8' bed and 7.3 PSD it also has a quarter million miles on it!:D

The F250 has 143K on it.... I was referring to the S10 having 1/4 million on it. I hope to get at least 1/2 million out of the F250. :)

Yes, I understood you meant the S-10. I wasn't too clear on my response since I was refering to my F-250. I don't know about 1/2 mil but you've sure got more to go! Mines been pretty reliable. I've also got a F350 with the 6.0 and I'll take the 7.3 over it!
