Just out of curiosity, why do you want to lower a F350? A work truck?

Judging from this thread, often lowering means less springs or less capacity?

My thoughts exactly.

I'm not qualified to answer that one but this thought comes to mind.

heck guys it was the thing to do in the 90's slam any truck to the ground lots of people did it. they didnt haul tractors around they hauled chicks to the drags. i have seen 4x4 1 tons slammed to the ground, its a custom ride thing.

back on topic good choice with the bags, you could also buy some factory rear shackels and raise it up more if you want. we would send trucks out to the spring shop all the time to get new springs, it was less than a 100.00 per side on light duty stuff.
im thinking about bagging my half ton to get me by until i buy a 1 ton dump, which will be awhile. my wifes denali has factory bags, now thats cool. you really have no idea how much weight is on the tongue after you start it up it levels itself.

good lookin set up, i hope your makin some bank with it.

In addition to the custom spring redesign on the rear of my dually Dodge 1 ton I also put in extra leaves in the custom overload packs, 10,000 lb air bags in the rear and custom elliptical variable rate front coils with dual bilstein gas charged shocks in front and 19.5 inch Alcoas all the way around. This 4x4 Dodge started out raised a bit nigher than the 2wd and the truck got a tad higher yet. When I did the front springs I asked for 1/2 inch over stock height thinking the springs would "wear in" since the custom front bumber with winch weights 500 lbs but it didn't in the subsequent 10 years but who knows maybe it will eventually.

Now I find I am out of vogue and need to lower it. Will I ever get in phase with the fads????
