towing a g1900s HST

I want to tow my G1900 up a steep slope out of a valley. I've read somewhere this can damage the HST. Anyway I can do this?

1st thing is its not a good idea to tow but if needed some had a small silver button on the hydro you could push that would allow you roll it around the garage. I assume that it wont come out on its own if just pull it slow and ussually one tire will slip and the open diff will keep the hydro from turning or get someone to ride it up while you pull.

Just as an update for those interested. I didn't tow it, I was sure i'd read somewhere it would damage the hydro. I let some air out of the rear tyres and rode it up the slope very slow and steady pace, and it made it. Any increase on the speed whilst going up the slope made the tyres slip and I'd have to reverse and start again.

Of course I don't know for sure, but it seems to me that if the ground is slick enough for you to not get traction with your added weight in the seat, it certainly wouldn't hurt to tow the mower a bit without anyone on the seat. In wet/slick conditions, the tires/tyres would probably just slide right over the surface with very little problem. The best situation would be to have someone in the seat operating the HST pedal while towing at the same time, but if you're working by yourself, that option might not be available.
