Town Names

When I'm traveling around for work I see names of towns that I think are interesting, odd, or othewise stick out in my mind. Lately, for a project I've been going back and forth on I-70 in Missouri and there is an exit for Auxvasse. I've never been to Auxvasse or met anyone from there so I had to look it up. It's pronouced "Oh-voss". Every time I drive by the exit I pronounce it to myself several times.

We have a few towns with names like that here in Canada. There's Big Beaver (my home town), Love, Spread Eagle, Dorking, Climax, Come By Chance, Semens, Spuzzum, Balzac, Blow Me Down, and ***** just to name a few.

lol. I will have to visit that town one of these days.
