I have been looking for something like this to purchase but found nothing. So I made my own. It works and I'll use it. But it looks hokey. Does anyone know of any vendors selling something like this?

If it works and you can use it; ain't that all that matters? Looks OK to me.

You're too kind Bird. My third grade teacher used to say the same thing about me. I miss her a lot.

Nothing you can buy will be any better than what you just made. That device can be the basis for a lot of useful tools. I did pretty much the same thing and use mine for skidding logs, and built a receiver hitch like yours that I use to move wagons & trailers. But with a little figuring I can imagine a number of other uses for which it could be adapted. Keep up the good work and let your brain juices flow. W, Jones

Hokey? It works and is small enough to fit on a shelf. Maybe fill some plywood voids and paint it JD green?

I admire the more general purpose carryalls a but more, maybe. The fit on a shelf part is pretty sweet.

There is nothing wrong with that !!! Like you said - you couldn't find what you wanted so you came up with your own. Makes things more interesting.

This entire forum used to be full of simple little day in day out tractor things like that. It was nice. A constant source of ideas. Not so much anymore for some reason. Seems like things have to be bigger or better before they are posted now. It's to bad in my book.

Good work-why would that need to be any more "polished?" Reminds me of the wooden soda case I had the front of my BX to carry items-did the job and I had $1 worth of hardware and 30 minutes of time invested.
Gordon's right-15 years ago there were all sorts of homeMade add ons posted.
Always admired because I am not handy like that.
