Hope this is the right forum but if not I apoligize. I have been pricing 8" hose for my Trac Vac and it seems they're real proud of it. Best price I've seen so far is over $15 a ft. and I need around 8'. Add in shipping and you're at $150 or better depending upon the carrier. If
that's what I have to pay I will but I'm hoping one of you has a better source for the hose.

I am in the same boat. 8" replacement hose is pretty expensive. I can probably get through this year with what I have, but both my hoses really need to be replaced. There is a company selling different quality of 8" hose on Ebay, been a while since I checked the price, I think it was less than $15 but just, something like $13.50. I looked into trying to replace the Deck hose with a Clear (pvc/plastic) hose, that is very expensive.
Hopefully someone here comes up with a good idea.

Try Wynn Environmental for hose. It's real good stuff at fair prices. I bought hose and filters from them when I built my cyclone dust collector for my woodshop.

Take a look at McMaster-Carr Supply. You'll have to have an idea of what you want, as they have more possibilities than you can ever imagine.

Bringing this back from the dead. Just picked up an older Trac Vac for cheap but of course... it needs a new hose. Has anyone found a better source for this stuff? It seems ridiculous to be charging that much and I'm tempted to try throwing on some non-perfed drain tile hose.

I too recently bought a used trac. Have you found a reasonable place for both 8 and 6 inch hose?

Did you find a decent price for hose? If so where?

Depending on how much flexibility you need, I have seen 6" stove pipe used on sections that stay straight and have no flex applied. You might be able to cut good sections from your current hose and work something out.

Does anyone know where one can get hose ends, like a giant sized vacuum end?? They sell them on the walk behind self propelled ones, but can't find them as accessories.
